Football: Lionel Messi undergoes kidney stone treatment
Lionel Messi is experiencing treatment on kidney stones which stunned the Argentina genius at the Club World Cup in December, Barcelona reported on Monday.
The five-time world Player of the Year “will be submitted to different tests on Monday and Tuesday to evaluate the advancement of kidney issues he endured last December”, the Spanish champions said in an announcement.
The 28-year-old was sidelined by kidney stones amid the Club World Cup elimination round this past December, and he didn’t prepare on Monday since tests had recognized more kidney issues.
